The most common reason for separate warehouses is the fear that bulk call-offs will block consumer shipping — or vice versa. In LogShip Cloud, both channels run as separate process routes over one shared stock: B2B orders with higher minimum quantities and different shipping methods, D2C parcels at same-day pace. RETAIL DELIVERIES

Retail deliveries: retail-ready to specification

Large buyers dictate how goods have to arrive: defined cartons, pallet heights, label positions, packing lists, advance notice. We record these requirements once as a process route — after that, every call-off follows it automatically. We generate delivery notes and invoice inserts directly for each order via the Lexware connection (DE); master data and orders can come from Xentral (DE) or your inventory management system.

We build displays, mixed cartons and promotional goods together with our kitting and assembly service (DE) — from set assembly to palletised delivery to retailers.

Pallet shipping & bulk quantities — how a call-off works

Order received

The B2B order arrives via API, CSV import or — on request — EDI from your ERP, e.g. Xentral or JTL-Wawi. Minimum quantities and shipping method are controlled by the stored process route.

Pick & prepare

We pick from the shared stock — with 99.92% pick accuracy — and prepare goods retail-ready to the recipient's carton and labeling requirements.

Palletise & secure

Palletised single-SKU or mixed, wrapped and secured for transport. Pallet labels, package marking and packing lists are produced to the retail partner's requirements.

Ship & notify

Parcel-sized goods go out with DHL, GLS, UPS or DPD (2 PM cut-off), pallets by freight forwarder with advance notice to the recipient. Documents and tracking flow back into your system.

D2C parcels and storage follow the same building blocks as the rest of fulfillment. Pallet picking, retail-ready preparation and freight forwarding depend heavily on the retail partner in question and are calculated individually.

An honest look

When B2B fulfillment is not (yet) the right choice

Pure D2C sellers without retail partners: If you supply end customers only, you do not need the B2B process route with retail-ready labeling, EDI and delivery note inserts — regular e-commerce fulfillment is enough.
Very small, irregular pallet call-offs: Freight is calculated per shipment at the forwarder's rate. For occasional, one-off call-offs, a dedicated B2B setup with its own process route usually does not pay off.
Retail partners with exotic EDI formats and no lead time: We set up EDI connections on request on a project basis — short-notice special formats without time for coordination cannot be done overnight.
Mandatory ex-works collection: If a buyer insists on collecting the goods themselves instead of delivery, the freight forwarding part of our process drops away — picking can still be used.

What is B2B fulfillment?

B2B fulfillment means storage, picking and shipping to business customers — retailers, chains and bulk buyers — rather than to end consumers. LogYou handles both from the same stock: D2C parcels and B2B orders including pallet shipping, retail-ready preparation and delivery note inserts. Everything is managed through LogShip Cloud, in which we currently manage 35,000 SKUs in real time.

Who is B2B fulfillment via LogYou suitable for?

For brands that, alongside their own online shop, also supply retailers, chains or marketplaces with bulk quantities — without setting up a second warehouse. LogYou runs one shared stock for both channels and is commercially viable from as few as 10 parcels per day; at the upper end we scale up to pallet-level call-offs from entire retail chains.

What does B2B fulfillment cost?

As in D2C fulfillment, LogYou bills transparently by building block: inbound, storage, picking, palletising and shipping — with no setup fee, no minimum term and no flat warehouse fee. Pallet shipping is calculated by effort and freight forwarder rate. Send us your volume and recipient structure, and you will receive a concrete calculation within 24 hours.

How quickly are B2B orders shipped?

Parcel-sized B2B orders run at the same pace as D2C: orders placed by the 2 PM cut-off leave the warehouse the same day, and within Germany they are delivered in 1–2 working days. LogYou schedules pallet shipments individually with the freight forwarder and notifies the recipient in advance according to their requirements.
